Osteen Mango Features
The Osteen variety has an elongated Ovoid shape, with a purple skin color. With orange, yellow or greenish areas.
Thick skin, ideal to protect ITS pulp and transport, a pulp of excellent quality, devoid of fibers and intense orange color.
Its seed of small size, narrow and elongated. With an average size between 300 and 700 gr.
It is collected between September and November.

It comes from a seed planted in 1935 on the Osteen S.A property in Florida, this seed was reproduced from Haden seeds.
This variety was a commercial success, due to its high productivity, easy handling and excellent flavor.
